Band Story
<p class="p1">Shane Russell has toured most of his life the US, parts of the Caribbean, and even briefly overseas both as a vocalist and a drummer. He joined several cover acts as a drummer and vocalist playing a dozen states 150-200 shows per year from 2002-09. He was signed as a vocalist for Tate Music Group, performing his first solo label cd across the country in 2011-12 reaching radio stations nationwide to over 8 million people. He performed with a major label country artist for two contracts with Carnival Criuise Lines in 2014 and casino circuits from Las Vegas to Alabama, and preformed several shows at Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis, SD through 2015-16. He’s lived in Nashville for 7 years touring and writing and recently moved to Jackson MS. He has performed with Vince Neil, Cowboy Troy(of Big n Rich), Royal Bliss, Little Texas, Saving Abel, Ingram Hill, Saving Jane, Taylor Hicks, Crossing Dixon, and many more. Totaling over 3,000 shows as a singer and /or a drummer in his career. </p><p class="p1">Shane has performed on television broadcasts in Memphis, TN to over a million people multiple times. He's done many TV and Radio spots across the country as well as internet broadcasts like Nashville Side Streets for a single, Spoken, he recorded in Nashville with Grammy and Emmy winner Mills Logan(Toby Keith/Luke Bryan/Martina McBride, Ashley Cleveland/Cole Swindel/Sammy Hagar/Joe Walsh). </p><p class="p1">In 2017, Shane answered an ad for a Foreigner tribute, based out of Nashville. Getting the gig as a drummer/vocalist he was able to see what potential a tribute could achieve, when their first show was to a crowd of over 2,300 people. All of that year he performed in theatres and fairs across the country performing to thousands of fans. Most recently, Shane sings lead as ‘Steve Perry’ in a Journey Tribute in Ohio and is represented by various booking agents and promoters.</p>
