Eric: A Life in Sound—Studio Sessions, Stage Lights, and Strings
Eric is a seasoned musician whose journey through the local music scene is defined by both dedication and versatility. With years spent performing in original bands, working as a studio musician, and teaching music, his experience is as diverse as it is rich.
His music reflects a deep understanding of both the creative and technical aspects of recording. The tracks you’re hearing were crafted in a unique two-part recording process. Eric first laid down the guitar, keys, and vocals at home and at Rockdog Studios, using a Roland VS-2400. The raw files were then taken to producer Rick Welin, who completed the project by recording Marcus Davis on bass and Scotty Sexx on drums. After Rick's final mix, the songs were mastered at Turtle Recording and Suite Sound Labs, ensuring a polished, professional sound.
His work has received industry recognition, with songs featured on upcoming compilation albums:
"Only Girl" selected as one of 10 tracks on a CEG Records release in Fall 2007.
"Let's Find the Truth" chosen as the third track on Disc One of a double CD from NBT Records, released in November 2007.
Most recently, Eric completed recording a new collection of songs for his upcoming album—set to release later this year.
