Ivory Tower Project

Band Story
Ivory Tower Project (ITP) was founded by veteran New York songwriters Johnny Jace and Mark Regula, driven by their passion to create memorable songs from the heart and soul. Their collaboration produced an extensive catalog of captivating pop/rock music. Soon after, accomplished New York City guitarist Tony Novarro joined, forming the core of the group Ivory Tower alongside Regula.
However, shortly after the band's initial recording session, tragedy struck when original drummer Sal DiAngelo, previously diagnosed with leukemia, sadly passed away. Subsequently, original bassist Kevin Joyce also departed. Faced with these significant losses, Ivory Tower transitioned into a studio-oriented project, enlisting some of the New York metropolitan area's most talented studio musicians.
The reimagined Ivory Tower Project signed with Guerrilla Records, releasing their four-song EP "Red Hot." This EP earned significant attention, receiving moderate airplay on college, community, and internet radio stations across the United States, later reaching international audiences. The EP's standout single, "Burning," achieved notable success, reaching #1 on MP3Songs.com's Adult Contemporary Rock Chart both in the U.S. and the U.K.
"Red Hot" garnered critical acclaim and widespread airplay on more than 300 radio stations in 26 countries, with tracks consistently charting in the Top 20 on numerous internet radio platforms. Songs from the EP were also featured on six international compilation CDs across four different countries.
Tragically, Johnny Jace passed away in December 2003 due to complications from heart disease, leaving behind a legacy of inspiring lyrics and heartfelt songwriting. Further honoring their impact, in December 2005, ITP received the Gold Artist Award from the British internet radio station Radio Gets Wild. In December 2006, they charted at #19 on the "Top 30 Songs of 2006" list by internet station WCH.
Today, Ivory Tower Project continues their creative journey, currently working in the studio on a full-length album.
