Pagewater

Band Story
Sexual inhibition, adolescence, and teenage curiosity in the lives of four incomplete beings all preceded the formation of Pagewater during the fall of 1996. Over the past five years, the band has evolved into their current musical style and, in the process, has created a solid following.
Pagewater is scheduled to release their much-anticipated follow-up album to Potential Energy, titled Kinetic, on December 20, 2003. The album contains 13 tracks, ranging from heavy guitar-driven rock to textured, moody passages. The constant underlying theme of all of Pagewater's music is the exploration of an optimistic perspective on the realities of life.
Musically, the three-song EP Potential Energy offers a wide range of dynamics, textured rhythms, and memorable melodies. Pagewater's sound allows the listener to either take the music at face value or delve deeper into the underlying aspects that make the band's sound original. The depth and maturity of the EP make it a benchmark, showcasing Pagewater's evolution as a studio band.
However, make no mistake—Pagewater is most effective as a live act. Their on-stage theatrics, energy, attention to detail, and larger-than-life visuals make every show unique and memorable. Pagewater is a band with much to say and much more to accomplish. In 2003, they hope to turn potential energy into energy of motion.
