The Holland Account
Band Story
The Holland Account is an original hard rock/alternative band from Indianapolis, Indiana. They have carefully blended the diverse influences and personalities of five individuals into one cohesive and powerful musical experience. Originally rooted in the metal scene, The Holland Account has dissected and evolved the genre’s core elements, drawing from progressive rock, dub, funk, metal, and hard rock.
Despite undergoing several lineup changes since the band's formation in 2004, two original members — Gumby and Brandon Morgan (guitarists) — remain. They continue to drive the music forward alongside soulful and powerful vocalist/lyricist Nick Ramey. Providing the rhythmic backbone are Ryan Cox on drums and Dan Minnerick on bass. The energy and chemistry of The Holland Account have revitalized their ever-growing fan base, making them one of the most exciting, spontaneous, and entertaining bands to hit the stage.
The Holland Account independently released two EPs in 2010 and is currently promoting their third recording, City Eats the Sky, released in June 2011. Their current catalog reflects their eclectic tastes and distinctive style. When not rehearsing or recording, they bring their electrifying sound to live audiences across the Midwest.
They are currently applying for LLC status to further establish their position in the music industry. You can hear The Holland Account on the Indy X-Files show on X103 WRZX, multiple stations throughout the Midwest, Last.fm, and other internet radio platforms.
