About :Robby Lake:Singer-Songwriter-Musician Born in Plainview,NY. in 1973,Robert Aptheker[a.k.a.Robby Lake]spent most of his teenage years growing up on the streets.When he first left his parents house before the age of 14,he began to slowly see the world-from a hard knocks side of life. It was soon thereafter that he'd learned the craft of basic poetry skills. And then,while attending a boarding school,he picked up the guitar and began to teach himself to play from a Mel Bay book of chords. He took the first two chords he had learned to strum to,and,combined with a poem which he had written at the age of 13 while trapped in a children's physiciatric facility,wrote his first song.
