FM Pilots is an Oklahoma rock/pop band that boasts catchy, polished tunes with heartfelt sentiment. The lineup consists of long-time friends Nick Whitaker, Josh Davidson, Josh Kephart, and Casey Meyering. “We’re all chasing dreams…chasing lives from movie scenes.” In the opening of their Debut EP, the band relates that we’re all in pursuit of our ambitions. This group of friends has an intense love for creating music…and music is where their ambitions thrive. “FM Pilots, balancing indie rock aesthetic and an undeniable pop sensibility… after only a few spins I was hooked and will be keeping an eye out for more.”- G.K. The band recently released their Self-Titled EP Fall 2010 and has since been embraced locally and even gained some national exposure. Locally, FM Pilots has been featured on Z104.5 The Edge, Tulsa’s CW 12/19, Urban Tulsa and were also promoted heavily by Z104.5 The Edge on the 2010 Oklahoma Homegroan CD. The band has gained national popularity through social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace. You can hear them on countless internet radio stations and also catch their most recent feature on “The Next Big Thing in Rock” CD- distributed by Tank Records (releases Jan 2011).
