ToWDaH

Band Story
Artist Biography: Mark Simmons and ToWDaH
Mark Simmons has been writing and performing music for over two decades, cultivating a distinctive voice and heartfelt style that resonates deeply with his audience. His journey began as the front man for bands Jeremiah Weeping and From The Overflow, where he honed his skills as a songwriter and live performer. Known for his emotive vocals and spiritually grounded lyrics, Mark’s music has long been rooted in a message of hope, healing, and faith.
Three years ago, during a worship session at his local church, Mark found himself jamming with long-time friend Matt Lewis, along with the church's drummer and bass player. What started as an impromptu musical connection quickly evolved into something more meaningful. The group began writing and performing together, finding synergy in their shared vision and love for worship through music.
As the sessions grew more serious, they welcomed a new layer of experience with the addition of veteran musician Steven Gent, previously of Time of Silence. With Steven’s arrival, the band ToWDaH was officially born — a name that reflects their desire to offer praise and thanksgiving through rock-infused worship.
Though Matt eventually relocated due to work, the group didn’t miss a beat. They found a new bandmate in Nathan Greer, an accomplished musician with a strong presence in the Little Rock music scene. Nathan had played with a number of respected artists and was also formerly part of the Jodie Evans Band — a connection he shared with fellow bandmate Lee. Together, they brought a fresh energy and a seasoned perspective to the group.
Now, ToWDaH is in the studio working on their debut release, pouring their collective passion and experience into every track. Their mission is simple but powerful: to rock hard and worship harder. They bring a high-energy performance style that combines the edge of rock music with the uplifting message of faith. Whether on stage or in the studio, their goal remains clear — to bring joy, inspiration, and the tangible presence of Jesus to every listener.
For ToWDaH, music isn’t just a performance — it’s a ministry. And with their blend of raw talent, spiritual conviction, and brotherhood, they’re ready to make waves far beyond their Arkansas roots.
