Band Story

Nathaniel Street-West is a California-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter and guitarist renowned for his fusion of rock, blues, and Americana. His music is characterized by raw emotion, vivid storytelling, and a commitment to authenticity.

Biography & Musical Journey
Born in the Sierra Foothills of California, Street-West's nomadic upbringing across the United States deeply influenced his musical style. At 15, he was admitted to the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he honed his skills in guitar and songwriting. His early work garnered comparisons to Bob Dylan and Neil Young, highlighting his lyrical depth and expressive vocals.

In 2006, he released the album Witness, produced by Mark Howard, known for his work with Bob Dylan. The album featured contributions from esteemed musicians like drummer Jim Keltner and keyboardist Zack Ray. However, shortly after its release, Street-West faced a significant health challenge. Diagnosed with MPA Vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disease, he underwent intensive treatments, including chemotherapy and the installation of a pacemaker, which sidelined his musical career for over a decade.

After a period of recovery, Street-West made a triumphant return with the 2017 album Blue Country. Recorded over two days at Welcome to 1979 Studios in Nashville, the album showcases his resilience and artistic evolution. Tracks like "To The River" and "Cease Fire!" reflect his journey through adversity and his renewed creative vigor.
