I need your help. I may not have mentioned it before, but I was robbed and deceived by two labels and two music publishers. I’m now trying to get back on my feet by selling my songs again. We are Burning Brains The Band, from Belém, Brazil, and we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to listen to our music.
Formed in 2005, Burning Brains has developed a loyal fanbase here in Brazil and we’re eager to share our sound with the world. Our music blends classic rock with heavy metal and occasionally features romantic ballads. Our main influences include Dokken, Keel, W.A.S.P., AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, and Judas Priest.
Over the years, we've evolved with different talented musicians joining us. We’ve had the honor of opening for major Brazilian acts like Angra and Dr. Sin. As the project grew more serious, founding members Antonio Augusto Cesar Junior (aka Jr. Thunder) and guitarist/producer Nelson Torres decided to re-record all of our songs, with lyrical contributions from Antonio’s wife, Alcyete Caracciolo.
Our debut CD, Amazon's on Fire, is now complete with 13 powerful tracks—years in the making. The recordings were engineered and produced by Nelson Torres in his studio. To support the release, we’ve also partnered with Ken and Geri Long at Longshot Productions (Canada) to produce a series of unique and sometimes provocative concept videos.
