Andersen Silva is a left-handed guitar-playing 'singer'/songwriter from northeastern New Jersey. "Joy in the New," his debut album, was released on CD in 2004, and the follow-up, "Tougher than Flannel," is in progress. His rhythm guitar is augmented by bass, MIDI keyboard, and 'virtual' drums, all played by Andy and recorded onto various Macintosh computers.
Andy is also one half of the duo Not An Exit, with Jon Wardell; the two continue to work together sporadically.
