"From heavy to slow, from the heart to soul". It describes Andrei SoulsilenS' rock and roll. Born in Brazil, Andrei SoulsilenS had his first contact with music through his father and at three years old he already tried to play an old acoustic guitar and to blow some notes from a harmonica. Andrei wrote his first full length song, Pollution, at the age of thirteen during math class in seventh grade. His African and European roots taught him to always be very eclectic, growing up listening to Brazilian music; Classical music; Rock 'n Roll and many other genres, very visible and perceptible in his music today. July 1999, Andrei plus two cousins began what became SoulsilenS today. SoulsilenS is a way of saying The silence of the soul, and the message is always peaceful, no matter how loud or how rough it gets. Late in 2008 Andrei SoulsilenS became a solo artist bringing to surface an array of new feelings. In the debut album Several Feelings, released in 2004, Andrei and the other musicians were heavily influenced by Kurt Cobain's vocals and guitar melodies. Five years later and today, SoulsilenS' music is a mix of Elvis Presley, Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Nirvana. Grungy guitars with simple and special melodies led by inteligent lyrics give SoulsilenS' songs a unique taste. Heart penetrating vocals, powerful drums, brain blaster basses completes the magical trip SoulsilenS will allow you to take. A musical passion translated into a life, a life passion translated into music. Simply... SoulsilenS.
